ACMobility Launches Pioneering EV Safety Learning Program, Busts Myths on Electric Mobility

Drive Electric. EV Safety Program

ACMobility, the Ayala Group’s mobility arm and leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions and infrastructure in the country, on Friday launched its pioneering learning program “Drive Electric. EV Safety Program."

The program, designed for anyone interested in EVs, among them EV advocates, prospective buyers, fleet operators, and the general public, aims to dispel common misconceptions about EVs by providing practical and accessible knowledge on EV technology and charging infrastructure.

By sharing comprehensive safety guidelines on EVs, ownership economics, and information on charging infrastructure, the program empowers consumers to make informed decisions about transitioning to electric mobility.

"As we continue to build an end-to-end electric mobility ecosystem, our ultimate priority is to empower the Filipino driver to make the shift to a more sustainable and cost-effective transport option. We are taking on the commitment to spread EV safety awareness through the Drive Electric. EV Safety Program, which aims to equip Filipinos with practical tools and accessible technical knowledge on EVs," said Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, Chief Executive Officer of ACMobility.

Building Confidence through Education
Drive Electric. EV Safety Program was designed alongside professional instruction partners and developed in close alignment with key public and private entities, including the Department of Energy (DOE), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), and the Philippine EV Community (PEVC).

The program covers a comprehensive five-module curriculum that addresses key questions on EV safety and ownership. It delivers clear guidance on fundamental EV concepts by tackling total cost of ownership, long-term EV savings, safe charging, emergency protocols, and EV technology.

What’s Next: Multi-Phase Nationwide Campaign

After the launch, ACMobility will roll out a series of targeted educational seminars across the country to Filipinos interested in making the switch to electric mobility. The program will expand through various phases, including corporate sessions, community workshops, and interactive showcases during major industry gatherings.

These future sessions will combine technical learning with hands-on test drive opportunities, giving broader audiences direct access to electric vehicles and expert guidance.

Consumers, fleet operators, and drivers eager to learn more about ACMobility’s EV Safety Program can sign up for sessions by visiting www.acmobility.ph
