BYD Cars Philippines has officially launched the new BYD Sealion 7, the brand’s latest fully electric performance SUV, during an event at the Glorietta Activity Center.
The Sealion 7 AWD is powered by dual electric motors producing 530PS (523hp) and 690Nm of torque, allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.5 seconds. It uses an 82.6kWh BYD Blade Battery with a claimed driving range of up to 542km based on the NEDC standard.

"Bridging sustainability and dynamic, exhilarating mobility, this vehicle marks another key milestone as we continue to lead the country’s charge towards electrification.”
Inside, the SUV features a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated power front seats, panoramic glass roof, Heads-Up Display (HUD), and voice assistant support. It also comes with a power tailgate with kick sensor functionality and a front trunk for extra storage.
The Sealion 7 also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, allowing external appliances to draw power directly from the vehicle.
Safety features include BYD’s DiPilot ADAS suite with Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Assistance, Blind Spot Detection, Driver Attention Warning, and a 360-degree camera system with see-through mode.
The BYD Sealion 7 AWD is priced at ₱2,588,000 in the Philippines. It comes with a 6-year or 160,000km vehicle warranty and an 8-year or 160,000km warranty for the BYD Blade Battery. The SUV is available in Shark Grey, Cosmos Black, Aurora White, and Deep Sea Blue.
Customers purchasing through BPI can avail of an all-in low downpayment offer of ₱388,000 with one year of free comprehensive insurance until June 30, 2026.
The BYD Tech Tour is happening at the Glorietta Activity Center from May 28 to May 31, where visitors can view and test drive the Sealion 7 alongside other BYD models including the Shark 6, Sealion 5, Sealion 6, and Tang DM-i.
