BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, has officially launched the BYD Tang DM-i, marking a big step forward in the brand’s Super DM-i lineup. Built for Filipino families who want to drive farther, smarter, and with more confidence every day, the Tang DM-i combines electric efficiency, advanced features, and spacious comfort—redefining what an electrified family SUV can be.
Power and Range with Super DM-i Technology
The Tang DM-i runs on BYD’s Super DM-i system, pairing a turbocharged onboard generator with a 21.5 kWh Blade battery. It produces 271 PS and 315 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds.
This setup gives the SUV a combined driving range of over 1,000 km with 110 km of pure EV driving, making it perfect for both city commutes and long trips. Charging is fast and convenient too—about three hours on AC power from 15% to 100%, or just 22 minutes on DC fast charging from 30% to 80%.
It also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), meaning the SUV can power external devices—ideal for outdoor trips, family camping, or emergencies.
Spacious Comfort and Smart Connectivity
Inside, the Tang DM-i offers a 7-seater cabin with a premium feel. The layout is flexible enough for family trips, daily driving, or spontaneous getaways.
