Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, has unveiled the all-new Kia PV5 Cargo at the 14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS 2026) at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. Priced at ₱2,098,000, the electric commercial van targets businesses seeking a practical option for deliveries, logistics, and fleet operations.
Recognized as the 2026 International Van of the Year, the PV5 Cargo features Kia's dedicated electric vehicle platform, LED lighting, and 16-inch steel wheels. It measures 4,695 mm long, 1,895 mm wide, and 1,905 mm high, with a 2,995 mm wheelbase designed to support maneuverability in urban areas.
Cargo Capacity and Practical Features
The PV5 Cargo offers a 4,420-liter cargo bay measuring 2,255 mm long, 1,565 mm wide, and 1,520 mm high, with a maximum payload of 805 kg. Dual-swing rear doors, a low loading height, eight heavy-duty tie-down hooks, and universal L-track mounting points help simplify loading and secure cargo during transport.
Electric Performance, Range, and Charging
Power comes from a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 163 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Its 51.5 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery provides a claimed driving range of up to 384 kilometers on the NEDC cycle.
Using a compatible 350 kW DC charger, the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes under the specified conditions. An 11 kW AC wallbox takes around 4 hours and 45 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80%.
The van also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, supplying up to 3.6 kW of power for tools, lighting, and other equipment at work sites.
Safety, Connectivity, and Fleet Support
The Kia PV5 Cargo comes with Kia DriveWise driver-assistance features, including Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Smart Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Driver Attention Warning. Parking Distance Warning and a rear-view monitor assist with maneuvering in tight spaces.
Additional safety equipment includes front, side, and curtain airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Hill-Start Assist Control, and Downhill Brake Control. Inside, a 12.9-inch touchscreen and 7.5-inch driver display provide access to vehicle information and infotainment. Wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, alongside 12V outlets and dual USB-C ports.
ACMobility will support business customers through its commercial ecosystem, which includes ChargeFleet fleet management, Greenstrum infrastructure support, Power-on-Wheels mobile support, and access to charging stations through the Evro app network.
Price and Availability in the Philippines
The Kia PV5 Cargo is priced at ₱2,098,000 and comes in Snow White Pearl, Steel Grey, and Aurora Black Pearl. Fleet reservations opened nationwide at Kia dealerships on October 22, 2026.
